Our Founder and Director, Chloe, has lived and breathed social media since its infancy 16 years ago, managing social media campaigns since 2009 for a variety of brands including Estée Lauder, Playboy, QVC, and many more.

After moving to Carlisle from London in 2014, Chloe was approached by several different business owners and marketing managers who were all struggling to find the time and knowhow to use their social media channels effectively. They didn’t know what content to create, which channels to use, and how to communicate in a way that engaged their fans. Many didn’t understand the benefit that social media could have for their business and struggled to justify a social media investment to their directors. They were looking for someone to support and manage their social media strategies for them.

From day one, the need for a social media specialist agency that concentrated solely and exclusively on social media strategy became very clear to Chloe. An agency these businesses could build a relationship with and trust their brands to, with an overall understanding of what a good social media advertising campaign could bring them.

These businesses didn’t have huge budgets and were nervous of agencies. A partnership with Chloe was a big commitment. Within three months of Social Soda launching, the company had four travel and property sector clients. The growth of Social Soda quickly accelerated from there.

Fast forward to 2020, Social Soda is now a team of four knowledgeable and skilled professionals. Chloe, our Founder and Director, Suzanne, our Social Media Coordinator, and Kim and Rebecca, our Freelance Community Assistants.

Our agency office is located in the heart of Carlisle and now works with businesses spanning the industries of consumer, retail, tourism, property, personal, and events.
